Amy (Hampson) Ziser has over 20 years of nonprofit event planning and fundraising experience.  She started her career as a one-person event department at The Wellness Community-Orange County, then moved to the Bay Area for a role managing auctions for Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area, one of the country’s largest Make-A-Wish chapters.  She was promoted throughout her tenure at Make-A-Wish, eventually heading up the events department as Event Director for six years.  In that role, she was responsible for all of the organization’s events, from concept to day of execution, raising more than $2.5M annually with her team through an ambitious annual events calendar including numerous Galas, 5k walk events, anniversary celebrations and more.  At the close of 2017, after a decade helping make wishes come true, Amy started Amy Ziser Events.  Amy is passionate about doing great work for incredible causes.  She thrives when tackling complex logistical challenges, is resourceful and calm under pressure and is an excellent team player.  She’s able both to see the big picture, and to manage the small but important details that make an event truly extraordinary.  For the past 8+ years, Amy has enjoyed helping nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area and beyond, including Boys & Girls Clubs, American Cancer Society, Planned Parenthood, NatureBridge, Girls Inc., CoachArt and more, create memorable events that entertain, engage and inspire.
